  1. Hey there.

When you are in a niche that is very competitive I think you need to stand out from the crowd. You have to focus in (dig down) on one important aspect of that broad niche. Like you said about the health niche, it is massive. Even ‘diet food’ niche is too broad, you have to niche down to something tighter…like…protein shakes for women. That can be a whole niche on its own.
Such a fun exercise and the possibilities are endless. Maybe that’s why it’s so hard to choose a niche.

  2. Your post did a very nice job in describing what a niche is and what it takes to find a niche that keeps your interest. I really liked your honesty when it came to reasons that people quit Blogging. It does take a lot of time and a lot of writing. Picking the right image and make it or break it when it comes to succeeding. I’m sure your post will be very helpful to those were looking for better direction.

  3. Hi

This is a great read, I have recently been trying to start up my own website online and really need to find my thing.

Getting the right niche is so important because if you are going to build your website around it and constantly talk about it you really need to know what you are doing, thanks for the tips.

  4. When I first started out in this business many years ago I thought I could write in just about any niche but I soon hit the wall. You have to pick something you love as a niche otherwise your writing will show it (you could always hire a writer but that sucks on money!). The five sites I own are all based on subjects I like which is why they are now successful
